Answers What does KiGoo do? KiGoo brings integration between Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook to a whole new level. No more synchronization needed: KiGoo gives you the opportunity to use your actual Google Calendar through the Microsoft Outlook user interface. All the information is kept on the Google servers so you don't have to worry about synchronizing it anymore.
Will KiGoo send personal information from my computer? No. We don't collect any information from our users. The only data transactions happen between your computer and Google servers. Information from Google Calendar is retrieved and updated using a direct link between the client machine and Google Calendar servers.
What are the minimum system requirements for installing KiGoo? KiGoo currently works on Microsoft Windows Vista or Microsoft Windows XP (with Service Pack 2) for 32 and 64bits editions, equipped with Microsoft Outlook 2003 (SP2) or 2007 (SP1). It also requires Microsoft's .Net Framework 2.0 or higher.
Do I need Administrator privileges on my computer in order to install KiGoo? Yes, you must have administrator privileges to install KiGoo.
Do I need to have a Microsoft Exchange Server account or a POP3 account to use KiGoo? No, KiGoo does not need any special configuration in Microsoft Outlook in order to work.
Will an appointment created with KiGoo be reflected on the web version of Google Calendar? Absolutely. Any operation performed through KiGoo on Google Calendar and Google Contacts will immediately update your Google account data and will be shown through the Google Calendar/Google Mail web interface. In order to see the changes, however, you might need to refresh the webpage.
Is there a Mac version of KiGoo? No, there is no Mac version of KiGoo at the moment.
Can I attach documents to an Appointment? No. Attaching documents to Appointments is not supported since the Google Calendar Service does not currently allow this.

Does KiGoo work along with other Microsoft Outlook plug-ins? Yes, since KiGoo creates its own Message Store it does not interfere with other plug-ins.
Can I see multiple Google Calendars in Microsoft Outlook using KiGoo?
Can I install KiGoo in any path that I choose? In this version you cannot select the path where KiGoo will always be installed. KiGoo will be installed in: C:\Program Files\KiGoo
I created an event in the Google Calendar and I cannot see the whole text in KiGoo. What is wrong? Microsoft Outlook supports up to 255 characters in the What, Where and Location fields while Google Calendar supports up to 1024 characters. This is the reason why any text in those fields that exceeds the 255 characters limit will not be displayed.

What should I do if I don't have the Net framework 2.0 installed? Go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856EACB-4362-4B0D-8EDD-AAB15C5E04F5&displaylang=en and download the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package. After downloading it, install it by double-clicking the downloaded file.
I can't see the Free/Busy information for a particular Google user. What's wrong? The user may have not shared his Free/Busy information or your Google credentials are not checked to be remembered in the KiGoo configuration form. The Free/Busy feature needs to have the “remind me” checkbox of the Google Account login screen set to true in order to work properly.
I have never used Google Calendar, can I use KiGoo anyway? Although KiGoo can work over an empty Google Calendar the user must have visited the Google Calendar website at least once to enable Google Calendar in his Google account. If you have never used Google Calendar just Open Google Calendar on your web browser, enter your Google Account username and password and click the Sign in button.
Can I connect to KiGoo with a Google apps account? Yes, you can.
When I try to connect to my Google account using KiGoo, the following message is displayed: “Error connecting to the server” Have you configured your proxy settings? Open the Control Panel and select Internet options. Go to the Connection tab and click the Lan settings button, there you can enter your proxy information.
After creating a new appointment using KiGoo I can see that two messages were sent. This happens because Google Mail and Microsoft Outlook are each sending an invitation. If you click the Save and close button after creating a new appointment only one message will be sent.
I can't use the Free/Busy feature in Vista and Microsoft Outlook 2007. Is this caused by the User Account Control feature? Yes, you must disable User Account Control to use the Free/Busy feature in Windows Vista.

When I change the Gmail user account I see in Microsoft Outlook the folders of the previous account. It rarely happens. We are working in this point. Anyway, you can’t access or see the old information.

I have installed KiGoo and I can't see my Google appointments and contacts. Check if you have entered your Google Account credentials and that you have installed KiGoo’s license.
Can I still use KiGoo when I’m not connected to the internet? If you have checked the Remember me option in the KiGoo Login window you will be able to see the information that was available the last time you used KiGoo online. If you don't have this option checked you will only be able to use KiGoo while connected to the internet.
I am in off line mode and I can see the information for some folders, but not from others. When you are on-line and you select a folder, an importation process starts downloading Calendar data in your local machine. If you haven’t selected any folder when you were in on-line mode then, you don’t see the Calendar data in off-line mode
What should I do when I have received the license file? You should double click the license.kil file attached to the email you received. KiGoo will automatically install the license on your machine. If you prefer to do it manually, you can copy the license file into C:\Program Files\KiGoo\Insight.
I created an appointment in my secondary calendar, not in default one, and then when I received the invitation in Microsoft Outlook, the calendar name is displayed in the “from” field. This is because Google treats secondary calendars as mail users in the domain group.calendar.google.com. When you create an appointment in a secondary calendar, meetings are sent to attendees from you on behalf of the calendar.
Can I search by more than one calendar folder? No, search works only for one calendar at a time.
I installed KiGoo using an administrator user but when I open Outlook with a different user I can't see the KiGoo folder in the navigation panel. This happens because the store is missing in the new user or for the new profile that wants to use KiGoo. This happens because KiGoo’s data store has been installed only for the administrator user and in its default Outlook profile. To solve this, you need to import the store to the new user: log in with the user you want to use KiGoo with and execute the following command from a command line console: C:\Program Files\KiGoo\Configuration\ImportExportTool –import –pst KiGooConfig2003.pst –storename KiGoo (if you’re using Outlook 2003)

I can't send an email using more than two Distribution Lists. If I try that, a message error is displayed. This version of KiGoo supports mails with a maximum of two Distribution Lists or one Distribution List and one Contact Mail.
I have created a Contact Group in Google Mail. Some of its members don’t have an email account. When I see this group as a Distribution List in Outlook it only shows me the contacts which have an email account. This happens because Outlook only allows contacts that have email addresses in a Distribution list.
I have deleted a contact in Gmail some hours ago but I still can see it in KiGoo. What is the problem? Please check that your Time and the Time Zone you have in your Windows Session is the same that it is set in your Gmail Account.
